FAQ
General Questions
What types of Pokémon cards do you sell?
We specialize in single Pokémon cards, including commons, uncommons, rares, holos, reverse holos, and trainers. We also offer special variety packs that are perfect for new collectors or those looking to expand their collection.
Do you sell sealed products or booster packs?
At this time, we primarily focus on single cards. However, we hope to expand our inventory in the future to include sealed products.
Shipping & Orders
How long does shipping take?
We ship all orders the same day or the next business day (except Sundays and holidays). Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method, but most orders arrive within 3-7 business days.
How are the cards packaged for shipping?
We take great care when packaging your cards. Every card is placed in a protective sleeve, and higher-value cards are shipped in top-loaders. Orders are mailed in padded envelopes or sturdy mailers to ensure they arrive safely.
Do you offer international shipping?
We only ship within the continental U.S. and Washington, D.C. We hope to expand to Hawaii, Alaska, and international shipping in the future!
Card Conditions & Photos
What condition are the cards in?
We strive to provide high-quality cards and accurately list them based on standard grading conditions, including Near Mint (NM), Lightly Played (LP), and Moderately Played (MP). Unless otherwise stated, all cards in our store are in Near Mint (NM) condition.
Do you take requests for specific card conditions?
If you’re looking for a specific condition of a card, feel free to reach out before purchasing, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request!
Why do you use stock photos instead of actual photos of the cards?
We use stock photos for most cards under $30 because we have a large inventory, and it helps us list them more efficiently. Stock photos typically show the non-holo version of a card, but we may also have holo and/or reverse-holo variations available. Please check the selected variation before purchasing. However, for higher-value cards, we take actual photos so customers can see their exact condition—especially for those who may want to get them graded. If you ever have questions about a specific card’s condition, feel free to reach out!
Returns & Customer Service
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. However, if you receive the wrong item or there is an issue with your order, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to make it right.
What if my card arrives damaged?
We carefully package all orders to prevent damage, but if your card arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll work with you to find a solution.
Miscellaneous
Do you buy Pokémon cards?
At this time, we do not buy individual cards or collections. However, this may change in the future, so stay tuned!
Can I request a specific card that’s not listed?
Absolutely! If you’re looking for a particular card that isn’t currently listed, feel free to reach out. We may have it in stock or be able to find it for you.
Sales Tax
Do you charge sales tax?
Currently, Battle Born Cards only charges sales tax on purchases made within Nevada. As a small business based in Nevada, we are not yet required to collect and remit sales tax for orders outside the state. If our business grows and sales tax requirements change, we will update our policy accordingly.
